Mission Statement
Our mission is to cultivate a community rooted in sustainability by providing a place for cooperative organic gardening.
About Us
The Napili Community Garden organizating council is made up of an active, enthusiastic and engaged group of gardeners who have been busy building infrastructure and have just formalized the structure and governance of our community organization.
Ulupono Initiative has generously subleased a 3.6 acre of land just above Honoapi'ilani Hwy for use as the Napili Community Garden. The garden is located on former pineapple lands that have been out of production for a sufficient period of time to be eligible for organic certification.

Educational Center
Integral to our Community-Farm plots is the educational center featuring New Earth Systems, a highly productive technique of integrated agriculture that teaches how to create a natural balance with nature while cultivating the earth. It involves soil building, solar, wind, and water power. The technique blends aquaculture, aquaponics, vermiculture, aggressive aerobic, composting, and the management of waste.
The New Earth Systems educational center is integrated into our community garden acting as an outdoor classroom that incorporate hands-on teaching tools like water wheels, solar panels, worm bins, show tanks, and various composting stages.
